Eight 1:1 sessions, weekly or fortnightly, built on the SONAS Method™

You know you're capable of more.

But something keeps getting in the way.

Self-doubt
You second-guess decisions you're more than qualified to make.
Overthinking
Your mind keeps running long after the working day is done.
Inconsistent habits
You start strong, then your habits slip.
The gap
There's a gap between what you could do and what you're doing.

High performance isn't about doing more.

It's about thinking better, living better and performing consistently. Most people try to close the gap by working harder. Coaching with SONAS looks at how you think, how you respond to pressure and what you believe about yourself.

The SONAS Method™

Five psychological foundations that give the programme its structure. You work through them in order, each one building on the last, combining evidence-based principles with practical behavioural strategies.

State Control

Learn to notice and regulate your physical and emotional state, so you can think clearly under pressure.

Ownership

Take full responsibility for your choices, your standards and your response to events, without blame or harsh self-criticism.

Narrative

Examine the story you tell yourself about who you are and what you're capable of, and rewrite the beliefs that hold you back.

Action

Turn insight into deliberate action, with clear priorities and the confidence to follow through.

Systems

Build routines and habits that make good performance your default, so progress lasts well beyond the programme.

What changes

Practical, lasting differences you'll notice at work and in life.

  • Stronger self-belief

Back your own judgement and stop waiting to feel ready.

  • Steadier under pressure

Recognise stress early and regulate your response to it.

  • Sharper focus

Spend your attention on what moves you forward.

  • Purposeful action

Set clear priorities and follow through on them.

  • Routines that last

Habits built to survive busy weeks and setbacks.

Questions

Who is coaching for?

Ambitious people who want to perform better and look after their wellbeing. That includes professionals, leaders, business owners, athletes and students who feel they aren't yet performing at their best.

Is this the same as therapy?

No. Coaching focuses on your goals, your habits and how you perform, now and in the future. Cahir's background in psychology and CBT informs the approach, but coaching isn't a substitute for clinical support. If something you're dealing with would be better served by a therapist or your GP, he'll tell you honestly.

How long is the programme?

The programme is eight 1:1 sessions of 60 minutes. You can meet weekly or fortnightly, whichever suits you best.

Are sessions online or in person?

Sessions run online by video call, so you can take part wherever you are. In-person sessions in Castlewellan, County Down, are coming soon.

How much does it cost?

Your first call is free. Programme fees depend on the format that suits you, and Cahir will go through them openly on that call, with no pressure to commit.

Is everything confidential?

Yes. What you discuss in coaching stays between you and Cahir, within the usual professional limits that protect your safety.

What happens after the eight sessions?

You'll finish with tools and routines you can keep using on your own. You can also book follow-up sessions to keep your momentum going.

Start with a conversation.

Book a free, confidential initial call about where you are and where you want to be.

Confidential. No obligation.
